Cantonese Soup

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 lb lean lamb, sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
  • 3 cups chinese cabbage, thinly sliced
  • chow mein noodles, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 in large saucepan, lightly brown lamb in oil, stirring frequently. stir in soy sauce, pepper and ginger.
  • 2 cook 5 minutes.
  • 3 add chicken broth; simmer 15 minutes.
  • 4 add cabbage and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • 5 garnish each serving with noodles.
