Cantonese Soup

Ingredients

- 1/2 lb lean lamb, sliced thin
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
- 3 cups chinese cabbage, thinly sliced
- chow mein noodles, for garnish
Recipe
- 1 in large saucepan, lightly brown lamb in oil, stirring frequently. stir in soy sauce, pepper and ginger.
- 2 cook 5 minutes.
- 3 add chicken broth; simmer 15 minutes.
- 4 add cabbage and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- 5 garnish each serving with noodles.
