Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans french style green beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (3 ounce) can french-fried onions, divided
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
- 3/4 cup milk (preferably whole milk)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- 2 drain and rinse beans (my mother always taught me to do this when using canned green beans, to get rid of the "can taste").
- 3 in 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole dish, mix together milk and cheese soup.
- 4 stir in drained beans.
- 5 stir in half the french fried onions.
- 6 place in preheated oven and cook 30-35 minutes (use the longer time if you like them a little thicker).
- 7 sprinkle remaining french fried onions over the top.
- 8 return to oven for 5 more minutes.
- 9 serve hot.
