Cheese Soup

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granule
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 ounces cheez whiz or 1/2 cup velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beer (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in 2 quart sauce pan.
  • 2 dice onions add to butter.
  • 3 saute onions until clear.
  • 4 add bouillon and flour, stir to mix well and thick paste is formed.
  • 5 add milk, stir well to remove any lumps, mixture will be thin.
  • 6 add cheeses to simmering milk mixture. stir, to melt cheeses.
  • 7 stir in beer (optional).
  • 8 serve warm, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. with cornbread or toast.
