Chicken With Chipped Beef

Total Time: 3 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 1/2 ounce) jar chipped beef
  • 8 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can sliced button mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup dry sauterne

Recipe

  • 1 crumble chipped beef and place in bottom of 9 by 13 baking dish.
  • 2 wrap bacon around chicken breasts and sprinkle with pepper.
  • 3 combine soup, sour cream, and cream cheese in blender or by electric mixer.
  • 4 add mushrooms and pour over chicken breasts in casserole.
  • 5 cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
  • 6 remove foil and add sauterne.
  • 7 cook uncovered another hour.
