Cooked Yogurt (cooked Laban)

Ingredients
- Servings: 10
- 1 1/2 quarts homemade arabic yogurt (i have a recipe posted for this)
- 1 egg (or 1 tbs cornstarch)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon dried mint (optional)
Recipe
- 1 mix the homemade laban well with egg and salt, always stirring in the same direction. boil gently until it is of a rich, creamy consistency resembling gravy.
- 2 while laban is boiling, brown garlic in butter and pour over laban.
- 3 sprinkle the crushed, dried mint on top and let boil together for 5 minutes.
- 4 serve as is or it can be used in other dishes!
