Cream Of Mushroom Soup

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.
  • 2 add mushrooms and saute until tender.
  • 3 combine flour and broth until smooth,stir into the mushroom mixture.
  • 4 bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 min.
  • 5 or until thickened.
