Creamed Chicken And Biscuits

Total Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (3 lb) roasting chickens
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 10 1/2 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 boil chicken.
  • 2 debone chicken saving broth.
  • 3 put in bottom of 9x13 dish.
  • 4 add some broth with cornstarch added.
  • 5 add cream of chicken soup.
  • 6 salt and pepper and celery salt.
  • 7 mix remaining ingredients into biscuit dough.
  • 8 the dough will be stick drop by spoonfuls onto sauce i needed to add a little more flour because i used huge egg ,darlene had banties ,so had smaller eggs.
  • 9 add to top of chicken.
  • 10 this overflowed for me so put pan under.
  • 11 bake at 400 degrees until biscuits are brown about 30 minutes.
