Broccolie Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- 24 ounces frozen chopped broccoli
- 1/2 lb butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups water, reserved from cooked broccoli
- 1 lb cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 lb velveeta cheese
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook broccoli in water until tender. drain and reserve the liquid.
- 2 melt butter in a large soup pot. add flour, stirring constantly to make a roux. add onions and saute until tender. add liquids, stirring constantly to prevent lumping. add cheeses, broccoli, worcestershire, salt and pepper. contiue cooking until cheeses are melted.
- 3 add more water or milk if the soup is too thick.
