Chicken Casserole

Total Time: 38 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 cup wine
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom pieces, drained
  • 1 (5 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350*.
  • 2 sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper; brown in oil in skillet.
  • 3 place in 11x7 baking dish.
  • 4 stir soup into skillet; blend in the wine.
  • 5 add mushrooms, water chestnuts, green pepper and thyme.
  • 6 heat to boiling; pour over chicken.
  • 7 cover and bake for 30 minutes.
