Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons bacon bits
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 (16 ounce) can cream-style corn
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
Recipe
- 1 in a small skillet, melt butter and saute the chopped onion until tender but not brown.
- 2 stir in the flour; add the milk, cooking and stirring constantly, for 3 minutes or until smooth and thick.
- 3 stir in corn and bring almost to a boil.
- 4 add the seasonings and bacon bits.
