Cream Of Cauliflower Soup

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

Recipe

  • 1 steam cauliflower for 6 minute using the 2 cups boiling water.
  • 2 break cauliflower into small pieces and add it to the cooking water.
  • 3 melt butter and flour and mix until smooth.
  • 4 add water and reg. milk to the flour mixture and bring to a boil.
  • 5 add this to the cauliflower mixture along with the evaporated milk and seasonings.
  • 6 simmer until thickened to your liking.
  • 7 enjoy.
