- 6 tablespoons butter
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 6 cups milk
- salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 brown mushrooms slightly in melted butter; blend in flour and stir milk in gradually.
- 2 cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring as needed to keep the mixture smooth.
- 3 season to taste and serve with crisp crackers.
