Chicken Stew

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 1/3 lbs chicken breasts
  • 2 lbs mixed vegetables
  • 3 sage leaves
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 chop chicken into 1 inch pieces. in a dutch oven, heat olive oil on high heat and brown chicken for 4-5 minutes.
  • 2 remove chicken from pot.
  • 3 add margarine and cook sage leaves for 1 minute. remove sage and add vegetables. sprinkle flour over vegetables and mix for 1 minute until blended. add chicken broth and chicken together and cook it up.
  • 4 serve over rice or noodles.
