Cream Of Tomato Soup

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Recipe

  • 1 saute onions til transparent.
  • 2 add sugar, salt and stewed tomatoes.
  • 3 set aside.
  • 4 melt butter, stir in flour.
  • 5 mix over medium heat, and stir in milk, whisking to make a smooth sauce.
  • 6 heat thoroughly and add tomato mixture.
  • 7 heat through and serve.
