Creamy & Buttery Chicken Bake

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1.5-2 lbs.)
  • 2 cups crushed butter flavored crackers (like club crackers)
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 in medium bowl, combine crushed crackers and butter.
  • 3 spread half of the cracker mixture evenly over a 9"x13" baking pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 4 season the chicken on both sides with the salt and pepper.
  • 5 place chicken in the baking dish over the mixture.
  • 6 combine water, sour cream and soup and pour the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • 7 top with remaining cracker mixture.
  • 8 bake for 45-50 minutes or until no pink remains in the chicken.
