Ingredients

- 1/2 cup chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (yellow)
- 1 cup shredded yellow american cheese
- 3 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
Recipe
- 1 in saucepan, cook carrot, celery and onion in butter. stir in flour. mix in broth and milk. cook, stirring, until slightly thickened. slowly stir in cheeses. add bacon. heat through. do not boil.
