Ingredients
- 4 apples, pared and diced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 lemon, rind of, finely chopped
- 3 cups hot water
- 1/2 cup red wine or 1/2 cup wine
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Recipe
- 1 combine apples, sugar, lemon rind, and hot water. cook until apples are tender. add wine. blend flour and cold water. thin with a few tablespoons of hot soup. simmer 5 minutes. chill, and add cream before serving.
