Breakfast Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (15 ounce) package seasoned croutons
  • 1 lb regular breakfast sausage
  • 1 lb hot breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (16 ounce) package of shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt & pepper

Recipe

  • 1 spray a 10"x13รข€? baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 2 line the bottom of the pan with the croutons to form a base "crust" layer.
  • 3 brown the 2 lbs. of sausage in a skillet over medium heat. drain grease.
  • 4 layer the sausage evenly on top of the croutons in the pan.
  • 5 in a bowl combine the eggs, milk and soup. stir with a whisk to mix will. add salt and pepper to mixture if desired.
  • 6 pour the mixture over the top of the sausage in the pan.
  • 7 cover the top evenly with the cheddar cheese and cover the pan with foil.
  • 8 bake at 300°f for 1.5 hours.
