Chicken Adobo Filipino Style

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 -4 lbs chicken legs or 3 -4 lbs chicken thighs or 3 -4 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed (smashed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 dried bay leaves

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients together in a large pot. cover and let chicken marinate for 1/2 hour in a pot, then bring to boil, lower heat, and cover pot. let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. uncover and simmer until sauce is reduced and thickened, and chicken is fork tender, which takes about 20 more minutes. serve over steamed rice. sauce is so good over the rice.
