Breast Of Chicken With Asparagus

Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 can cream of asparagus soup
- 1 (3 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 (10 ounce) can whole asparagus spears
Recipe
- 1 season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- 2 saute chicken in butter until browned.
- 3 combine the sour cream, soup, mushrooms and sherry.
- 4 transfer the breasts to a baking dish and pour 1/4 of the sauce over them.
- 5 sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over the sauce.
- 6 place asparagus over cheese and add remaining sauce.
- 7 add the remaining cheese and bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for about 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
