Cabbage Wedge Casserole

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 small cabbage
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (10 ounce) can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups french fried onion rings
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cut cabbage into small wedges. carefully place wedges in a saucepan with enough water to cover. add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 2 boil cabbage (covered) until very tender. drain and carefully place wedges in a casserole dish. sprinkle cabbage with cheese.
  • 3 mix soup with sour cream and spread over cabbage. top with onion rings. bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. keep a watchful eye on onion rings to not get too brown.
