Chicken Noodle Soup

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 1/2 lbs chicken quarters
  • 1 quart water
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups egg noodles

Recipe

  • 1 cook all ingredients except noodles for 45 mn.
  • 2 cool, skim fat. remove the veggies if you don't want them.
  • 3 clean the chicken off the bones, dice or shred, add to broth and bring to boiling. i cook the noodles in the broth, but if you do that you will need to add more water, or you could throw a can of t chicken broth in!
  • 4 you could also cook the noodles before adding them to the broth, then you won't need to add more liquid.
