Chicken Rice/noodle Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 10
- 6 celery hearts
- 32 ounces baby carrots
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 large onion
- 16 ounces long grain rice (or package of egg noodles)
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion salt
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- black pepper
Recipe
- 1 place chicken in pot and fill with water until chicken is covered.
- 2 add onion and seasonings and boil for 20 minutes.
- 3 reduce heat to simmer and add celery and carrots and cover.
- 4 cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- 5 in final hour add rice or noodles.
