Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup celery & leaves, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 6 ounces noodles, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 in a large kettle, combine broth, chicken, milk, carrot, celery, onion, garlic, marjoram & salt and pepper.
  • 2 cook over medium heat until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • 3 add noodles & cook until almost done.
  • 4 in a cup, whisk together milk & flour; stir into soup and boil gently for 3 minutes. stir in butter.
