Cheesy Veggie Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 4 green onions, sliced, tips included
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can undiluted chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2-1 cup shredded mild to sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese (optional)
- 1 -2 teaspoon dijon-style mustard
Recipe
- 1 turn vegetables into saucepan.
- 2 add onions, flour, salad herbs, slat and clack pepper.
- 3 mix until vegetables are coated with the flour.
- 4 add chicken broth and milk.
- 5 heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- 6 cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- 7 just before serving, blend in the cheddar cheese and cream cheese, if used.
- 8 taste the soup and add mustar as desired.
- 9 serve immediately.
