Cheese Chowder

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups ground chicken or 2 cups turkey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped scallion
  • 2 cups stock
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 cook ground poultry in oil, add and wilt veggies.
  • 2 blend in flour and salt.
  • 3 slowly add liquid.
  • 4 cook and stir over low heat until thickened.
  • 5 add cheese and continue cooking until it melts.
