Clara's Cheesy Curried Chili

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole stewed tomatoes with basil
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans dark red kidney beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can red beans, drained
  • 1 (1 lb) package mild velveeta mexican cheese
  • 6 -8 teaspoons chili powder
  • 4 teaspoons hot mexican chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon yellow curry powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon seasoning salt (optional) or 1/8 teaspoon hickory bacon salt (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 place meat, corn, tomatoes, and spices in a crock pot and stir to combine. heat on low 7 hours (or through one work day).
  • 2 add beans and velveeta and stir. heat on low an additional 2-3 hours or until melted.
