Ingredients

- 2 cups potato and leek soup
- 3 cups milk
- freshly ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 cups medium cheddar or 2 cups old cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan, combine soup base and milk with nutmeg; bring to a simmer.
- 2 whisk in hot sauce and cumin; stir in cheese(do not let soup boil after cheese is added).
- 3 season to taste with salt and pepper.
