Chili

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 lbs ground beef or 2 lbs ground lamb
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (796 ml) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (540 ml) can kidney beans
  • 1 (540 ml) can black beans
  • 1 (398 ml) can baked beans with molasses
  • 1 (284 ml) can tomato soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup diced red pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 saute meat, onions and garlic.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients and simmer over minimum heat for 2 hours.
